Roselit Bone
A pandrogyne cowboy, mascara smeared, guns blazed out, lies drunk under a starless sky. A young boy sits under a blasted tree with a bone and a wire, numbed by a nameless catastrophe. White-robed dancers leap and crawl around a fire, celebrating a hungry god that was once a brand name.
“Like Marty Robbins meets The Cramps, or a Goblin sountrack to a spaghetti western, ranchero fantasy meets greased up country in a magical reality.”

Melao De Cuba Salsa Orchestra
Melao, the Spanish word for molasses, is a group of talented Portland musicians who come together to share the beauty and exuberance of traditional Cuban music.
Just as molasses is transformed into one of the oldest spirits of the world, rum, Melao transforms elements of Afro-Cuban and Spanish music into vibrant, danceable music that lifts your spirit and brings joy to your heart.
The Music of Melao de Cuba is a Salsa fusion of different musical rhythms such as Cuban Rumbas, Latin Jazz, Traditional Yoruba Chants, Son, Chachacha, Spanish Flamenco, Boogaloo, Boleros, and other latin music styles.

Mr. Vale's Math Class
Mr. Vale’s Math Class is a group of friends and collaborators lighting up sweaty living rooms and basements across Portland. Serving up a funky equation of music and math, the 7-piece band encourages audience participation through percussion, chanting, and of course dancing. Led by frontman Jordan Vale on keys, the band leads with a spirit of silliness that invites everyone in the room to let loose and have a good time.
